About

Pressure Point Training Clinic is based in the Old School Business Centre on Church Drive which actually was an old primary school up to 2009 and before that, a girls’ school from 1896.
The post code NG5 6LD will take you to Church Drive East which is just off Church Drive. Useful reference points are all a one minute drive away: Sainsburys, Aldi, Wickes and St Pauls Church (the spire is the tallest in Arnold so if you are lost – head for that).
If you are planning on taking a weekend course, Premier Inn is a short walk away with rooms from £29 per night

Access & Car Parking
You can park in the old playground which is through the gates at the right hand side of the building – there are many spaces, and on your way in you can have a quick game of hopscotch!!
At the front door, press the buzzer for Pressure Point, say your name and I will let you in. As you walk down the corridor, the male and female toilets are on the right, pass these, turn left then walk to the end of the corridor and my room, Studio 7, is at the end on the left.

Happy Learners
I completed the 2 day stretching and strengthening course with Clare and Tom and found it really beneficial. I learnt a lot and continue to share my knowledge with clients who would benefit from stretching and strengthening certain muscle groups as part of their injury rehabilitation. I would highly recommend this course to any sports massage therapist or fitness coach
Saskia Sharpe (Stretch & Strengthen Course) SJS Sports Massage /I completed my level 3 sports massage therapy course with Clare previously and I had no hesitation in contacting her about organising my level 4 massage course through Pressure Point Training. Clare was excellent throughout an intense, ten session course and you could see a lot of time and effort had gone into the preparation of it. She was very detailed with her delivery and made the learning environment very comfortable for us all on the course. She was also patient & flexible in her teaching style and made it very enjoyable throughout. I cannot thank Clare enough for her effort and help on this course and would recommend anyone in contacting her about wanting to complete a massage therapy course.
"I chose to do Level 5 with Pressure Point as I have in the past received great tuition from Clare Riddell and her enthusiasm and experience within sports massage. I found the whole course very structured and to a precise timetable from day one. Due to the current pandemic there were extra precautions in place, such as a Covid questionnaire before arrival, our temperature taken daily and plenty of PPE and sanitisers available which made me feel that we were in a secure place to study."
Paul Proud – (Level 5) Leicester /"I would definitely recommend Level 5 sports massage therapy at Pressure Point to increase your anatomy and testing knowledge together with advanced massage techniques. The course is well designed and progressive. It’s hard work but really interesting. Clare (the tutor) has an excellent teaching style and makes learning fun. She has patience and appreciates the diversity of learning styles in her students. Her knowledge is phenomenal (as are her cakes!).
The assessment days were conducted in a relaxed but professional way. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and am booking further courses at Pressure Point to improve the range of treatments I can offer my clients in the future."
"I have trained with Clare over the past 5 years. In that time I have completed both level 3 and 4 qualifications and I am also in the process of completing my level 5. Clare’s training is second to none. She is extremely knowledgeable and can deliver content in a way which you can understand and can digest. Her courses are fun and engaging and worth every penny! Clare has given me the knowledge and confidence to change my career and I now run my own successful business."
Leanne Greasley – (Level 5) Birmingham /"I decided to complete the level 5 course after completing level 3 and 4 with Clare. I am happy I made this decision. The course gives you more strings to your bow and improves your knowledge as a therapist. It allows you to understand more complex and difficult clients whilst providing you with alternative techniques to use as a therapist. Clare made the course interesting/fun with a good balance of practical and theory. Clare has a perfect balance of professionalism, knowledge, fun and passion which makes her a great tutor. Many thanks Clare. I look forward to completing more courses in the future."
Dan Carter – (Level 5) Loughborough /"From the beginning of the Level 3 Sports Massage course I knew I had made the right decision. Our course tutor was a fun, dynamic and versatile teacher, who captured our attention and outlined our course content and objectives with clarity and conciseness. The course was easy to follow, and although a lot of the content was in depth and at a higher level than I had previously studied, I was able to keep up and felt competent before we moved on to the next topic. Clare could not have been more supportive and understanding, and her encouragement and positive feedback really encouraged me to stay on track and complete the course. Clare made the learning fun whilst maintaining academic progression and professionalism being at the forefront of the whole course."

I cannot thank my teacher Clare enough for all her help and support."
Rana Mohammadi (Level 3) /"The Level 3 Sports Massage course was well-structured and informative throughout, ensuring that I was equipped with the knowledge required to pass the qualification and become a skills sports massage therapist. Without a shadow of doubt I would not have been able to progress on the course in the manner that I have without the support and continued understanding from my tutor Clare Riddell and for this I will be eternally grateful."
Stephanie Tirrell (Level 3) /"I consider myself very lucky to have had some marvellous tutors throughout my learning experience in massage and Clare Riddell is no exception to this previous high standard. Clare clearly has outstanding knowledge and expertise in this field and teaches her knowledge and skills to others most enthusiastically and in an easily understandable way. I was particularly impressed by the way Clare showed a deep level of interest in my own development and of the other students in the class. I have to acknowledge my huge gratitude to Clare who was thoroughly emphatic and supportive to my learning process throughout this course."
Jeremy Hill (Level 4) /“I started Level 3 Sports Massage with Clare in September 2016 and from the first weekend, I fell in love with it. I knew I had to continue with my study, onto Level 4 as I love learning and found the content fascinating. The L4 course seemed to go really quickly, with the format well laid out covering a different joint each session. I find Clare's way of teaching really easy to digest so will no doubt be signing up for future courses with her and Pressure Point”
Sarah Allen – (Level 3 & 4) Indigo Circle Health & Beauty /“Clare Riddell, the course tutor, has created a wonderful learning environment which has been enriching and enjoyable. She has been friendly and approachable whilst maintaining a very high level of professionalism and her subject knowledge is excellent. The small numbers on the Level 4 course meant the atmosphere has been less formal and intimidating and has therefore provided opportunities for one-to-one tuition. I look forward to attending 1-day courses through Pressure Point in the future as part of my CPD”

Dan – (Level 3 & 4) Leicestershire / Level 3 & 4 Sports Massage"Clare is probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever had, she made the courses interesting and hands on to ensure confidence in all necessary areas. The course itself was a brilliant mix of theory and practical to give the learner an all round experience and foundation of knowledge and understanding. The posture course taught me how to see the body differently and to effortlessly assess someone, easily indicating the correct areas to work on, suitable techniques and relevant prescription of strengthening advice for weaker areas. The course was a perfect add on to Level 3 sports massage allowing me to improve the service I can give to clients."
Nicola Rossell – (Level 3 & 4) Rossell Fitness / Leicester"I attended the one-day Postural Assessment Course just after graduating from my Level 3 sports massage diploma. The course was fantastic in helping me underpin my existing knowledge. Previously I had found postural assessments quite daunting, however after the course I feel a lot more confident to carryout assessments and appropriate tests and stretches, so much so I was applying them to my practice with clients the following day. The environment and course structure was laid back, informative and hosted in a lovely environment. All in all a great day, I came away feeling re-energised and confident about my practice and knowledge, thanks Clare!"
Hannah Elkington (Postural Assessment) / Massage Therapist"I have taught postural analysis for many years but this course has given me so much more to work with. The small class size meant that nothing was missed and it was fabulous to spend the day with like-minded people. I am definitely interested in more courses! Thank you Clare"
